Station

The new Crivitz Fire Station was built in 2004 with local funding and grant from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce Community Development Block grant program.  The building was designed by Martenson & Eisele Architects and constructed by IEI General Contractors.  The building houses a large apparatus area, meeting room, locker/shower rooms and offices.

Apparatus Bays

The fire station has 4 double bays with 8 doors.  Initially set up for drive through doors the department now utilizes 6 of the 8 doors for apparatus.  The department has such a varied use for its trucks it was impossible to place the trucks in the same direction.

Training Room

The fire department has a classroom that is used regularly by the members of the department for their classroom drills.  It is fully equipped with a powerpoint projector and surround sound system to assist in training.  NWTC also uses the classroom for its state fire classes.

Training Tower and Field

In 2009, the department built a training tower in the field located directly behind the department.  This tower is used for ladder training, roof ventilation, firefighter survival, balcony and window rescues, and rappeling.  The department plans to build more structures in the field for training purposes, starting with a small structure for search and rescue training.
